How to apply for the Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of No Criminal Record).

Applicants, who live in Australian Capital Territory should apply in person to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Australia.

Applicants, who live in Northern Territory, may apply to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Australia by mail.

If you apply in person the following documents are required:

1.       Application for obtaining Police clearance certificate (available in ENGLISH);

2.       Your passport;

3.       Copies of your Russian visa and of the document with address in Russia;

4.       Self-addressed return Registered or Express envelope (if you’d like to receive it by post).

If you apply by mail the following documents are required:

1.       Application for obtaining Police clearance certificate (available in ENGLISH).
We strongly recommend enclose your contact details (phone number and e-mail address) for contacting you if we need any more information to process your request;

2.       Certified copy of your passport data page (with your photo and personal details).
Must be certified by a Notary Public or by a Justice of Peace;

3.       Copies of your passport page with your Russian visa or of the document with address in Russia;

4.       Self-addressed return Registered or Express Post envelope (if you’d like to receive it by post).

Documents that do not satisfy the above requirements will be sent back to the applicants.

If necessary Consular Section may request applicants to submit additional information.
